Feed the little guy all it will eat. You don't have to worry about over feeding. As long as your feeding the right stuff. A diet of mostly leafy greens (except spinach) with fruits and veggies added and an occasional small helping of moistened dry dog food (about once a month) your redfoot should do fine. and don't forget the calcium supplement.
