What a great reply Esther, excellent advise.
I agree offer tempting foods that are easy to eat.
When I had a very sick, weak Russian the only thing she could or would eat by herself was soaked Pretty pets Tortoise pellets.
Not ideal as a permanent diet, but at least she was eating.
You can wean them on to a better diet, when they're on the road to recovery and able to handle
corser foods.
I sent the original post to the Russian Tortoise list in the hopes of more replies and emailed the poster privately.
But your advise was spot on , soft and tempting foods to get him eating again.
