Clogged Nostrils

My small 3 year old T. kleinmanni has had its nostrils clogged with some dried debris for quiete some time. The vet doesn't know how to unclog it, and with some patience i was able to slightly unclog one nostril. Anyone got any ideas?
I tried wetting the nostrils, soaking, and gently scrapping.
