: Well, lesson learned here. Fortunately I kept the Leps in because it was cold this morning, although I didn't make it home at lunch time. Accidently, I left their gate open last night and 1 60 something lb tortoise just couldn't resist sampling ALL of their lovely flowers and grass. I'm glad he decided to dig instead of bust through the plastic fence... : I know a picture says a 100 words, but this really needs to be seen to be appreciated..lol. : Ciao' : Giovanni Geez....we really enjoy your pics. Thx. Now did he dig down through his area and up into the other tort area? Or did he stop and turn around and come back? Is that the first time he has dug a hole like that? Once tried, he will try again. Good luck. We have our double chain link fence secured in cement under ground with what is refered to as privacy slats so they can't see through, BUT they do have NOSES. The other areas divided by massive beams, with fingers crossed and toes too, that they, Tonka and Buzzy don't decided to dig. One can hope.
