Adult Redfoot Keepers....question?????

I have a trio of adult redfoots and the two females are eating good, but the male seems to be not interested. They are all in an enclosure in the garage and I've been soaking them, offering a good variety, but it just seems to be the male. Anyone else's male get that way also? Since they are indoors right now, this can't be because he's wanting to breed because he's shown no effort in that catagory....Any opinions would be great. Also, he is not sick and heavy as a 75' Lincoln Towncar.....
