Hi Ann,
Its very possible that the Gentamiacin could be effecting his appitite. The B12 is usually give only once or twice in tiny doses.
What tepms do you have this little gem at? This too may be effecting his hunger. I agree with Annie about hydration being most important and reducing any stress may help him to heal faster and want to eat on his own.
