heyah,
there is no eye infection that i know of. she didn't say anything, according to her i get him to open his eyes more when he's back with me. he opens the good side during soaks, both sometimes in the sun and both when it rains.

yup i've seen him gulp water bet 8-18 swallows but that was about 4 days back.

he's about slightly bigger than 2 inches. he's pulled out the tube about two weeks back, it's just sryinge feeding and he swallows it but he tears and it sometimes bubbles out his nose. he opens his mouth for me but it takes 3 hours to feed 3mls!! any other stuff you need to know? thanx.

: Most torts wont eat if they cant see. Is there some kind of eye infection going on as well? What does the vet say about no opening his eyes? Does he open them during soaks?
: Have you seen him drink on is own during these soaks?
: How big is your tort? Did the vet show you how to tube feed? If not, are you just putting the baby food in his mouth and hoping he will swollow? Im worried that that will get into his lungs.
: If your tube feeding, are you using a speculum? Wooden clothes pins will work for this is you take it apart.
: Write back, I wasnt able to get enough info or the torts size from you other posts.
