: I've noticed several adds for so called high white sulcata hatchlings. Not the Ivory sulcatas, just hatchlings with a slightly lighter colored carapce.
: Going anywhere from $125-$250.

: Why more money for these slightly lighter sulcata?

The same as Blond Leopards... it's all marketing. We have hatched "blond" and "normal" Leopards from the same clutch. We have also hatched extremely light Sulcata that ALL darkened after a few months of solid growth. So, I would not get too upset by it. It's really just marketing and if someone wants to pay that for a "normal" animal, that's their right. I'd personally recommend buying a "normal" and put the money saved into a combo UV heat/light bulb. I am TOTALLY sold on the combination bulb benefits. My CBB Pancakes have been going nuts with the bulbs on them!
