HELP!! FORCE FEED STAR?

my poor star, sammy, has had about 8 abscesses removed and a tube put down his throat, which he promptly pulled out 10 days later.he's been back with me now for about 2 weeks and i've been trying to force feed him with baby food. the vet said to force feed with 9mls a day, 3ml 3 times a day. but so far i've only managed max 3ml a day. he hasn't eaten proper food for about 2 months now. i soak him about 10-20min a day. is there anything i can do to make him eat again? he also won't open his eyes. he seems quite strong though, cos' he tends to push against me when i'm force feeding him and he tears. he's now on gentamicin injections once every 3 days, vit c injections once every 2 days, 0.2ml of nutroplex, 0.1ml of stress vit, 0.1ml of clacium solution & 0.3ml of vit b12 daily. please someone tell me what to do? thanx.
