tortoise trust master courses

I recently saw an ad for a master course being offered by Tortoise Trust that will be in my area. I was interested and went to the website. I hadn't realized how expensive this course would be. Could anyone who has attended one tell me what they thought of it. I am a very recent owner of a pair of Hermann's tortoises and I enjoy them very much but I am not a serious collector or breeder...yet!!! Thanks a lot to anyone who can answer my question.
