: My red foot has tried to bite my feet twice in the last week. He was pretty presistant too. Each time I left my bare foot in front of him, he walked up, smelled my feet, and tried to bite my toes. He didn't get me either time, but he is getting bigger now, and I don't want to have to worry about him biting somebody on the finger or something down the road. I'm guessing my feet don't smell like roses, but maybe they do and that is why he wants to take a bite out of them.
It must be curiosity because like Terry's, our two sulcatas go for toes. Mine especially with toe nail polish. It was cute when they were small. At 20 and 40 lbs., I keep an eye on my toes these days. Keep your shoes on. But then ours are interested in shoe lace tips. Our female has been known the pull on shoes lace tips. The finger biting I also agree with Terry about. We rub the chins of both our sulcatas and have never had either attempt to bite and I even rub noses with them. Now if you're holding something to eat and you let your figures get in the way thats not the tort being aggressive. That hurt even when they were babies.
Just warn family and friends what could happen IF they are not careful.
: Should I be concerned about this?
