Hmm.. actually, I don't consider myself an "authority" at all. In fact, I feel I know less now than I did 10 years ago.... these are enigmatic animals, and we have barely scratched the surface. We're all just learning. We have a long way to go.

I'm continually revising what I thought I knew... and I'm sure everyone who works with these animals finds the same. The main thing is to keep an open mind, be rigorous and critical, and to keep your eyes open too.

The only thing I disagree with in this thread is that someone called me "old"!!!!!!!! (And here I was thinking I only felt that way...)
