I read all your post and all the post people have posted about you. (Though I still may not know the whole story) Yes, maybe some of the girls here got a bit of an attitude after they tried repeatedly to help you. But in no way do I think they had unacceptable attitudes. While the whole time you seem very nonchalant about the whole situation. Turtles and tortoises are very fragile and take a great deal of care and research. I researched red-eared sliders over six months before I even thought about getting one. These creatures are not pets you just up and decided to get. They take a LOT of time and a LOT of money. As others have said being a college is no excuse. I have "starved" for a week just so my turtle could go to the vet and get a check up (when nothing was wrong!) If you are in college than you should be smart enough to research and (in my mind) should be able to be responsible for another life. Maybe you should hold off on getting anything untill your fully ready to care for a pet (financially and emotionally)But if you do have a tortoise please (for the sake of the animal) do your research and find out the proper way to care for it. I'm sure if you are ready to get serious about tortoise keeping than the people on this forum will do their best to extend a helping hand (like they tried)Or you could always try another forum like http://gordasforums.proboards.com/ or http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/forum.htm but only if your serious, otherwise you'll get kicked off.

I do have a tortoise, and i was wrong, im sry i traded in the seafood, but i just dont have the money, im a college student. I mean, why would i just go out of no where, search this forum and suddenly make up something like this. But you are right, i did lie about California location. Because i dont want people to know my real adress because of internet stalkers and i didnt really care about the vets because i knew in the beginning that i cant afford it. Sorry if i disturbed you, what i said was true.and since im not welcomes, may this be my last post..
