toe clipping for growing Sulcata nails

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding my growing Sulcata.
I have noticed that the nails are growing longer and it seems
to be imparing its walking. I say this because when I examine
its hind leg there seems to a lot of wear or that toe is really
scrapped up. It walks fine and gets around its enclosure but
I just wanted to know if it would be a good idea to clip it?
