I have been using the static air type styrafoam incubators for 7 years now with no problem. You can purchase one at your local feed warehouse for around $40. One brand name is Hova-Bator. There are several other varieties. They go for around $80 in pet stores. These incs. were designed for poultry. and the egg turning device is optional, but don't buy it because you don't turn turtle eggs. My brother uses the vermiculite, I just place the eggs in topless egg crates. Put a dot with a fine felt tip marker on the top od each egg, to identify the clutch, and to keep the right side up. Earlier hatching torties will turn some of the eggs in there rumblings thruout the incubator, this happens more with the vermiculite than with egg crates. This year we have sulcatas and pyxis eggs, in seperate incubators to avoid cross contamination. Good luck.
