Some Leopards can have an alergic reaction to Baytril, so watch out for it. Foaming at the mouth is a sign of this alergic reaction.

Anyone Leopard tort keepers out there seen this reaction to Baytril in their torts?

Baytril is usually given as a 10 day course.
A shot every other day for 10 days. 5 shots total.

No need to put your other Leopards on Baytril, unless they start displaying symptoms too. Just keep the one with the runny nose quarantined.

Keep the tort on Baytril well hydrated, a nice daily soak for 5 -10 minutes, in shallow, luke warm water. The water should only come up to the very bottom of his neck, or where the carapace meets the plastron.Dry him off well after the soak.

Baytril can be a bit dehydrating, so make sure the tort's either drinking, or give him the 5- 10 minute soak while on meds.

Best of luck, hope he's on the road to recovery.
