gopher tortoise

Hi I was wondering what information anyone had on worming tortoises? My parents have had a tortoise for 35 years. She is a female and we think gopherus agassizzi. Some one told us she should be bigger than she is approx 20cm in lenght and now my parents are concerned about her. Little information on Tortoises is available in New Zealand as they are a rarity (Its been illegal to import them for over 25 years) We did get a friend to send us food from overseas but can't get her to eat it. She grazes on the lawn and has tomatoes, endive and strawberries. Any help would be appreciated
