There have been reports of leopard torts swimming.
They do enjoy wading through water. But that doesn't mean you should provide a deep pond or anything like that!
Make sure that any water is easy to enter and exit.
You don't want deep water that they can't get out of, they'd drown.
Something they can get into easily, wade about a bit and exit with ease and without tipping themselves over.
Maybe a flat tupperware lid, for tiny torts.
Or a plastic plant pot saucer for larger torts.
Just make sure they can get in and out with absolutely no problem.
I used to provide a flat Tupperware lid of water for my hatchling/baby leopards.
It was very shallow, mabe a quarter of an inch, or a little more. They would go in and soak or wade through it.
