There's the baby pics./cage and new set-up on there.
With a 20 Long I wouldn't go over a 60 watt bulb
in a dome set directly on the top screen (I do this
with my geckos - you can see them on my site too).
Place the dome on one side of the cage. Then you
have a basking side, warm middle and cool side.
Little fellows like hay, but some don't do well with
it, you can try it. Carefresh is OK as a bedding,
I use Lizard Litter (Kenaf Plant).
Be careful if you use a flat stone to bask on like
I do in my pics, don't put it directly under the
hottest spot, but off center and test with your
wrist, if it's too hot for you, it's too hot.
(Like a baby bottle test I suppose.)
You definitely want to get more ventilation going
than with a closed lid. The screen top is way
better. Also you could tape some construction paper
on the outside of the tank on three sides, makes
it more "solid" feeling and reduces glass stress.
