I know that I sometimes preach too much, even in the articles I write for R & A, and the chelonian books I do for Green Nature Books. But, having been involved since a kid (a long time ago), watching people sell novices tortoises and turtles that are destined to "die" disturbs me. Unfortunately, it still continues. Thanks for the support.

: : I find it disturbing regarding some specimens being sold in the classifieds (and at shows, etc. for that matter). Experienced herpers will have little problem selecting torts that will likely be good buys. However, I fear that novices could be greatly disappointed with some acquisitions.
: I can't imagine anyone here would disagree. But I'm sure I'm not telling you anything new, when I say that if enough people in the world cared more about all living things than money, there probably wouldn't be so many species endangered due to us.
: KEEP FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT!!!!!
