Our newfound Turtle, needs care today...can anyone help????

Hello all....
i need help on what to do today, for our turtle we found....
1 - what should i feed him
2 - what type of pen should he be in...
3 - help...i do not know other than lettuce, apples, water bowl???, does he need dirt or sand to burrow in???
