: Hello, I haven't been to this board in a long time, but I am worried about my little kleinmanni's shell. I have two kleinmanni's one is about 6 years of age, the other one is 3. They both have the same diet and everything, excpet the larger one has more space to walk in.
: The problem is that I just noticed a couple dark grey spots on the top scute which seems to be under the shell. I am not sure if its part of the pattern and since its growing its just appeared. the other thing is its plastrom. The plastrom has a bunch(about 15) of tiny grey pin point size specs on the middle of the plastrom and one or two larger specs on the sides. I just noticed this today, and I am worried sick about it. Has anyone seen this before?
: I feed both my kleins:
: Romaine lettuce, on occaison calcium supplement(rarely),sweet corn, boston lettuce, green peas, and dandelion greens.
Is it passing urates? Soak him and see if this is the case. Loose the peas.

: I have fed them using this diet and one is doing really great with a rock hard shell which is smooth, and the other one has a slightly pyramided(in my oppinion, not sure if it is or not)shell, with some grey dots.
: please feel free to email me,
