Remember, these are poikilotherms, (nothing like throwing around a big word now and then) the whole process is facilitated by temperature (75 - 100F) for the dry habitat animals. This should be provided as a range.

: As long as your tortoises are healthy have a fecal exam done once or twice a year. That will detect most internal parasites. Good luck,
