Agree with EJ, they're going to do better at much
warmer basking temps than most snakes.
Since one has a runny nose, I would seperate them
though, this will also allow you monitor eating which
is crucial if one seems ill.
Also Sulcatas need much more room than any snake
will ever require (to include Retics etc...) as
they are roaming grazing animals. Give them as
much room as you can at each point of their lives.
They also absolutely must have UV (again, different
than snakes), I use Active UV Heat bulbs which
put out much more UV than strip lights. Supplement
with Calcium/Vitamins if you want and give them
some cuttlebone (the kind birds get) in their
enclosure and scrape a bit onto their food.
Also the "ambient" temp you gave is too high for
the lowest temperature they might desire. My
cage has a section that is room temp or 70 degrees.
Sulcatas do not have slow periods like snakes or
geckos or other reptiles. Some tortoises hibernate
and have slow periods obviously, but not this type.
