: Actually, Redfoots are South American tortoise, and unlike most other species, eat a diet of primarily fruit-- up to 80% I believe. Find the fruits that have the best Calcium/Phosphorus ratio (2:1 or higher)and mix in a smaller portion of greens and veggies. The best thing you can do is really research the diet that Redfoots eat in their natural habitat and do your best to replicate this. You should be able to find a caresheet for the Redfoot tortoise at the below link.
: Good luck!

: : Which greens are you offering?
: : My torts (sulcatas and Russians) turn their noses up at some greens.
: : Endive, romaine, escarole, chicory and dandelions though are always eaten.
: : Try and mix a small amount of the pelleted diet in with the greens, mix it up well.
: : You can also mix in a bit of fruit , a small amount.
: : Grated carrots and squash, hibiscus flowers are also good foods.
: : Just a bit of squash or carrot though.
: : Mix everything well so the tort can't pick out his favorites easily.
: : Terry.
