: : : I hope this works. But this picture is of Tonka (formerly Pickles) making a liar out of me about this not eating stuff. No sooner did I get the camera out did he decide he wanted to eat. But I wanted to show his setup. This is the right side or his enclosure. You can see the edge of his drop in water dish on the left side.

: Shelly....your Tonka is adorable. We have a Tonka that is also a sulcata, now closing in on forty pounds. Curious...what made you change the name from Pickles to Tonka? When we got our sulcata, they had named him Skippy. One walk around the yard, pushing things out of his way, his name was changed to Tonka. Our other one that we've had since she was the size of yours, was originally named Buster, now changed to Buzzy since we know she's a she, because she pushed her weight around even as a small fry. Enjoy.

Thank you, I am sure your Tonka is adorable too, all 40 lbs of him! My friends daughter had originally named him (or her) Pickles which was cute at the time. Mainly because it was one of the only words she could say. Tonka seemed to fit best, for pretty much the same reason of pushing things around. He loves to push his hide box to another part of his enclosure. I guess for a change or scenery, or boredom. So I thought Tonka fit best.
