The package of Miner-al indoor that I have says that it can be used over "vegetables" and even gives a dosage. I think that they must have revised their packaging in the last year or two to include herbivorous herps. I think Rep-Cal is great, but the Miner-al has additional trace elements from the seaweed (kelp maybe?) that is thrown in with the calcium carbonate. Of course, maybe those things are in the oyster shell too.
: it specifically says it's intended for Insectivorous
: Reptiles and Amphibians and is to be sprinkled onto
: feeder insects (crickets) or pink mice.
: It also says right on the package that it is NOT
: RECOMMENDED as an addition to other food items
: such as vegetables. They can be contacted for
: further information. I'd stick with the Herptivite
: and Rep Cal stuff or plain old Cuttlebone.
