humidity for pancake egg

What is necessary for pancake egg success?

Place egg on vermiculite - dry - and then add a water dish to incubator and maintain 30 degrees Celsius?

Or should water be added to the vermiculite?

Any misting necessary?

Immediate responses would be appreciated? Egg laid tonite.
