Tim, if I remember correctly, oxalates are a by-product of plant metabolism so most or all plants have some oxalate level. Collards actually have a fairly high level of oxalates compared to some other commonly fed greens. However, they also have a high amount of calcium and an excellent Ca:Ph ratio. Looking at only the oxalate level, out of context, is misleading. Try this link for the information you need:
