I've been incubating three tortoise eggs at 86 deg. for sixty days now. The eggs still look all right, just a little stained from the peat, but I don't know how to tell if they're viable or not. I realize if they are and I wait a week or so more, I'll know for certain, but I'd like a more immediate option. I've candled snake eggs before, but I'm not sure what to look for in a hard-shelled turtle egg. Any thoughts?
