If she is eating and acting normally it's probably shell growth.

: Hello everyone,

: My russian's shell has been changing lately and now a certain part of her shell has turned a whitish color. It starts from underneath goes around to her tail and goes back underneath the shell. Right now it's only on the left side but I can see the right side lightening up also. It's almost as if it's separating the top of her shell from the last layer of scutes. Is this normal shell growth or a shell fungus? I have had her for almost two years, and she has an inside and outside area but has been spending most of her days outside lately. Thanks in advance for anyone that knows if this is normal or not.
