: I have had a female Florida box turtle for three years now. It was found on a highway shoulder on its back by someone i used to work with. I "claimed" her, nursed her back to health, and have spoiled her since. I believed it was an Eastern Box until recently while searching for a mate... It's too late to return her to the wild even if i knew exactly where she was found. HELP!! I dont want to give her up and noone at the FFGC (Florida Freshwater & Game Commission) has responded to my inquiries. I'd actually like to find her a mate and breed her...
I have found a male florida eastern box turtle and nursed him back to health. We have been looking for a mate for him and would love to hear back from you so we can trade pictures and possibly set up a date for them to meet. He is a date for them to meet.
