Injacom is a Vitamin A, D, and E combo injection. Not sure what the consequences of use of this drug in conjunction with the Baytril is, or if the doc got the dose right...not saying the turtles didn't have some sort of infection warranting an antibiotic like Baytril, but I'm curious why the doc stated a vitamin deficiency and then treated with Baytril as well as the vitamins? I think the "vitamin deficiency" diagnosis is used WAY too much by vets (yes Jon, I've had the same experiences as you have) that don't have much experience with herps. I hear that aspiring vets get just a few days of exotics training in vet school...not to say a vet can't be an expert but not all of them are or try to be. Choosing the right vet can make ALL the difference. Sorry for your loss Kelly.
