: Gio,
: What are the temps that you are keeping the tortoise you have pictured at?

She (along with her husband) when indoors enjoy a range from 70 to 110. Outdoors they get a range of about 70 to whatever. I tend to pay attention to the lower end temp and make sure they don't slip under 60 for too long in duration based on their size. They tend to really like the heat from what I've noticed.

>How long have you had it?

We picked her up at a Herp show in SC in August. This guy had her in a box with a Burmese Brown and a Hingeback (erosa) that was in real bad shape. She was in real bad shape, loaded with worms and a slight respiratory aliment, seriously low body weight. We were told she was 8.5 years old and was originally owned by a vet and was captive bred, by her demeanor the CB part could be true, however I haven't been able to substantiate anything the breeded told us which leads me to believe none of it's true.

>Does it have about 1/4 inch of growth on each >central scute?

Much higher, she has a very impressive deformity to her carapace as you can see. Her center scutes carry most of her lumps. During her clean up she was diagnoised with scoliosis(that you can really
see, when looking down on her). Now though she is doing awesome, has put on weight starting to show new growth and has no runny nose issues anymore and is living free of worms. And as of 2 weeks ago, we introduced her main squeeze to her.

Ciao'

Giovanni
