In Reply to: EJ, tell me about the babies... posted by Carmen on February 10, 2001 at 09:58:57:
The babies I have are about 6 months old. They are about 2 inches long with about 1/8th inch of new growth. I have a couple that are very out going (that is a quality I look for when buying or selling a tortoise) At an average rate it takes them about 5 to 10 years to reach 5lbs and 8 to 9 inches long if you do not push it growth wise. They are leagal for me to sell as is. (I do not do this as a business. These are incedental to the pets I have.)I feed them a variety of dark leafy greens and the usual stuff.

: EJ, please tell me about the babies you have and how I would get a turtle from you or any other breeder. I'm interested in the Leopard babies you have.
: Thanks

: : Leopards make dynamite pets and it just so happens that I have some babies avaliable. Another neat tortoise are Russians. They are very animated and not very demanding.
