I have a couple of question about keeping a Bells:
1) What kind of substrate is OK?
2)What would constitute a balanced diet? (mine refuses anything but plantains and zucchini and carrots.)
3)How much humidity do they need and is misting every so often OK? Also, do they need a water...um... bowl they could actually sit in in the tank?
4)Is it normal for them to bask 8-10 hours a day?
5) How often should I soak the tort?
6) I think this was brought up on the forum: is it normal for them to wheeze when you handle them?
7) Are there any signs of an unhealthy tort I should be aware of?
Thanks you much,
Maria (and Ziegfried)
