If your tortoises have been cycled correctly the female should lay eggs about a month after mating. My yellow foot tortoise has lain up to 15 eggs per clutch. Breeding activity doesn’t necessarily mean eggs. The tortoises will breed even if they haven’t been cycled but no eggs will be produced. Annual Environmental cycles trigger the tortoise’s reproduction process to begin such as the production of eggs and sperm. If the tortoises mate when their bodies have been conditioned for reproduction you will get fertile eggs.
