Hi,

My Russian tortoise Hardy is about three years old and we've had her for about 18 months. We did not hibernate her this winter as she was a little small, although her weight to length ratio is right where it should be on the Jackson Scale. Over the last couple of weeks she has stopped feeding, having done so on and off through the winter. This has coincided with her becoming really active, almost hyperactive. She has lost maybe half an ounce in weight since the refusal to eat. Apart from not eating she seems very well, no sign of shell rot or RNS or worms. We took her to the vet yesterday who suggested putting a little sugar in her bath and who gave her a Vitamin B12 shot and told us to co,e back in ten days if she still hasn't eaten. We usually feed her brocolli, greens, carrot tops, cauliflower leaves, rose petals and dandelions (although these last two have been hard to come by in the winter). Should we be worried? Does this sound like a familiar problem? I'd appreciate a quick response. Many thanks.
