: : Our Red Foot was stolen while being boarded over Xmas vacation. It was a sad day for us. My girlfriend, Amy, posted a message telling everyone of the whole situation. Some of you were so incredibly nice to email Amy privatly to say your thoughts were with us. We really appreciated it. Well, the good news is we got him back. I swear we should be detectives. We made reward posters and put them up in pet stores, vets offices, etc... Well someone called and said they had our tortoise, and arranged for a drop off at a parking lot of a grocery store. We paid the reward and stuck to our promise of "no questions asked". It took a month, but we are so excited to have our big man, Valentino, back.

: : He is about 1 1/2 years old, but pretty big (6 inches). Is that too big. We only feed him about every other day now. We also have a little female, Rossa, who is about 9 months old. She is much smaller than Valentino was at that age. Do we need to be concerned with thier growth?
: : Thanks again to everyone who wrote us just to say they hoped the best for us. It all worked out in the end.

: Thanks for keeping us updated! Sooooo happy to hear that it had a happy ending!!!
: Christine
