Yes...I have used the tooth brush method too. Thanks for the info. I just wanted to hear if I was the only one with the chore....LOL and if not how others handled it. Curious, how do you make Angel stay put at 65 lbs? Both Tonka and Buzzy like to soak but when I go at them with the tooth brush, staying put not an option.


: Soak the tortoise in warmish water, I use huge plant pot saucers for the 65 lb Angel.
: Scrub the rear end gently with a very soft toothbrush while the torts sitting in the water!
: I've only had to do this a couple of times, but it worked pretty well.
