Keep weighing him regularly, if you're not doing
it yourself with a digital scale, get one. The
poop/pee/food weights can make some difference,
but Teddy steadily gains 2 grams per day, I weighed
him often last year, now every few weeks. Same
weight gain pattern. He runs like a maniac outside
all summer, same thing, lounges inside in the winter,
same thing. (We got out last week, it was great!)
On the worm thing, I'm sorry, but I'm the picky
type, I like to have two consecutive (1-2 weeks apart)
Negative fecal exams. I don't mind the extra bit
for the peace of mind.
Give it a bit more time, weighing him regularly,
like weekly, you should really see an increase
pattern I think.
Don't rely on the vet or someone else weighing him,
keep track of this yourself, like I said if you
don't have a digital scale, get one, it's only
$50 bucks or so. (Lisa, we have spent 7 grand
adding an addition to the floorplans of our new
house for Teddy, so what the heck! Can't wait
to move into this place!)
