It could be that he was full of poop last time and less so this time. That can make a big difference.

It could be that with the cooler weather and or change in his environment his appetite has been a little off, and he levelled off a bit.

Plus the scales have a certain margin of error, and 1 gram just isn't enough to get excited about.

One slighly negative weigh-in does not constitute a trend. Of course, if he's showing other negative symptoms such as runny stool, etc., then get worried.
