I am interested in the Russian tortoise. I live near Toledo in the NW Ohio area. I can travel to obtain, but if you live far away from the Toledo area, perhaps I can meet halfway. Posting in this forum is advertising. I have a few now in a group for breeding. from David near Detroit

: My son has a Russian tortoise and he gives me a really hard time about cleaning and soaking him. We live in Ohio and cannot keep him outside in the winter, damp months etc. so he lives in the house. I don't want to have to take care of another pet. I already do everything for the other pets we have. My question is this: What would be the best kind of site to try to advertise him on? I tried the local paper and had no luck. I thought a website might offer more exposure. I would really not like to have to mail this tortoise (seems kinda of cruel to me). Any suggestions? By the way, we learned how to take care of him thanks to all of the great posts from knowledgeable people on this site.
