As evidence in a case, they must be maintained unless they were in such a condition that they had to be euthanized. Unfortunately, should you lose your case in court, you may well be charged for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the animals.

In cases such as this, the animals are regularly distributed to other knowledgable sources.

Even if misguided, the Humane Society attempts to be humane and doesn't indescriminately destroy any animals.
