Heather, If you are a teacher I highly recommend you get in touch with David on the TH list and pick his brain for some teaching methods. Pay particular attention to his attitude. There is no substitution for the real thing. Instead of taking away the option of using a good teaching tool from a good teacher why not help those teachers who don't use those tools properly learn how.
(Or we can use the 'blanket method')(much easier)(less work required)(less interaction)(more control)(we need more control)(control is good)

: If indeed you are following the law, yes you are being screwed over. Apologize for my cynical attitude, BUT, I've been in many a store who's undersized turtles are sold "for educational purposes only" and handed over with a wink because the store owner or worker knows better or doesn't care.
