I have never heard of corncob untill the place where i got my tortoises new viv from said to add it with compost and it will give great humidity and he said that even if the tortoise swallows it, it won't cause him no harm,because it will disolve. I'm now confused about what do about the heat source and substrate? I used bark in the old viv and it dried in seconds when i sprayed it.
