I use a heating pad under my hingeback's rubbermaid enclosure. He really doesn't like it very warm. Most of the time he stays in the unheated end. However, I don't bring him inside very often, he has a greenhouse outside to stay in and that is his favorite place, but this winter it has been really cold, so he had to come in. Make sure you keep the humidity high, they like a more tropical environment.
