Thank you for your comments. I was told these are zoo-bred in England, and given a name of a zoo. I bought them from a reputable dealer, but the guy I spoke with on the phone who told me 70 degrees wasn't the person I dealt with in purchasing the tortoises, so I don't know what the deal is. They are eating like pigs, so I may just overwinter them to be on the safe side. Thanks again.
