Update on Sea Turtles in Marathon

: Hello All ! I spoke with Richie from The Turtle Hospital in Marathon today. He wanted me to express his thankfulness to the fellow turtle lovers who have been showing concern over the loggerheads. I asked him how we could help, and he said that they do not accept monetary donations, because they are not open to the public and a 501c3. He said that he just thanks us for the concern and to keep praying for them ! : He gave the website address of the hospital, which gives information on not only the loggerheads condition, but other turtles that they have rescued. : Richie also owns "Hidden Harbor" motel and they donate some of their proceeds to the hospital! What a great guy! To think that it is run by volunteers is incredible. My vet, Dr Mader, who has his own practice, is the main vet there also. : Check out their website and let's do the one thing he asked, pray for the turtles and that they can find what is causing the sickness. : Thanks, : Christine aka Conch
