hi again,
up until now i have never used a water bowl for my two russians, as i heard they obtain all the moisture they need from their food. however, since many in here recommend it i cannot see if it would hurt to put one in as they can then make up their own mind. i wasn't sure what to use in an indoor enclosure. i guess outdoors you would bury it to ground level, but this isn't possible for me as they are indoors with a newspaper substrate. i know you weigh it down with stones, but what sort of thing would i use, perhaps a shallow dish like you put potted plants in? i was just worried they might get stuck in there.
